Indian students wanting to study in Australia can get assistance, and interact with the faculty of institutions there, through a virtual fair that is on till Aug 7, launched by IDP Education.
Some 25 Australiaan institutions are participating at the fair -- www.idpvirtualfair.com -- which is open to al Indian students, said IDP Education, a a global student placement service provider for higher education abroad.
"The fair offers free live chats with selected university representatives and a 24x7 window for offline queries. Students just need to register themselves on www.idpvirtualfair.com and proceed to the chat room," said the institution in a statement.
"This initiative will further help students with application-fee waivers and scholarships."
According to Harmeet Pental, IDP's regional director for South Asia, North America and UK, the Australian education system has always attracted Indian students, even as the availability of post-study work opportunities make it even more attractive.

Pental said the online platform gives students a chance to engage with Australian institution and discuss academic opportunities and programs of interest even as the institutions there get access to a more diverse and wider audience across the Indian geography.
"IDP helps the students from the beginning till the end, starting from the course and university selection, application submission, offer acceptance, tuition payment, visa assistance and pre-departure orientation."
After the virtual fair, IDP India will also host an Australian Education Fair in 14 cities in India with the participation of over 35 universities and institutions. The event is from Aug 17 to Sep 3, the statement said.
