India A had their counterparts from Bangladesh on the mat after taking a first innings lead of 183 runs and reducing the visitors to 36 for two in the second essay at stumps on the second and penultimate day of their unofficial game here on Monday.
Resuming at their overnight score of 161 for one, India A carried on with skipper Shikhar Dhawan striking 150 (146b, 18x4, 3x6) while middle-order batsmen Karun Nair (71, 97b, 12x4) and Vijay Shankar (86, 110b, 4x4, 4x6) piling on more misery on the visitors as the hosts declared at 411 for five.
None of the Bangladeshi bowlers made much impression on the Indian batsmen with Dhawan, returning after an injury break, setting the pace early on and the likes of Nair and Shankar sustaining the run flow.
In their second innings, Bangladesh A lost two early wickets, with paceman Ishwar Pandey and off-spinner Jayant Yadav picking up one apiece, to have the visitors on the ropes.

Bangladesh A 228 and 36 for 2 in 11 overs vs India A (1st innings) 411 for 5 decl in 86.1 overs (Shikhar Dhawan 150, Shreyas Iyer 38, Karun Nair 71, Vijay Shankar 86, Jubair Hossain 2 for 76).
