India beat Malaysia 3-2 in Hockey World Cup

India registered their first win in the FIH Hockey World Cup beating Malaysia 3-2 in their fourth pool game at the Greenfields Stadium here Saturday.

Jasjit Singh Kular (15th) opened the scoring for India while Akashdeep Singh (49th, 51st) got a brace. For Malaysia, Razle Adbul Rahim (46th) and Marhan Jalil (61st) sounded the board.
