An impressive bowling performance followed by some athleticism on the field helped South Africa bundle out India for 215 runs in the first innings on the opening day of the third Test of the four-match series at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium here on Wednesday.

For the hosts, opener Murali Vijay (40) was the top-scorer alongside some handy runs provided by Ravindra Jadeja (34) and Wriddhiman Saha (32).

For the visitors, spinner Simon Harmer (4/78) and seamer Morne Morkel (3/35) were the pick of the bowlers.
