Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday discussed the issue of counter-terrorism with his Spanish counterpart Mariano Rajoy on the sidelines of the G20 Summit here.
The issue of counter-terrorism came up for discussion, according to an official statement
"Cooperation in the areas of railways modernisation, defence manufacturing, renewable energy and marine security were also discussed," the statement said.
"Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy of Spain @narendramodi hold talks on the sidelines of @G20Tuekey2015," PMO India tweeted earlier.
The Prime Minister also met King Salman bin Abdul Aziz of Saudi Arabia.
On Monday, Modi also held bilateral meetings with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy, Saudi Arabia's King Salman bin Abdul Aziz and South Korean President Park Gyun-hye.
On Sunday, Modi held a bilateral meeting with Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull during which all procedures of the civil nuclear agreement signed between India and Australia were completed.
He also met European Council President Donald Tusk and European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker on Sunday.
