Australian coach Graham Reid said that India is the most unpredictable team of the lot in the upcoming Hockey World League Final to be played at the Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium here Jan 10-18.
"All the eight teams are very strong in their own respect and we are looking at playing some challenging hockey during the tournament. We feel that Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands are the teams to look out for, but India is the most unpredictable team. They can upset any strong team on any given day. Hence we should be extra careful while playing them," the assistant coach said.
The team from Down Under will be clashing against Belgium in the opening match of the tournament Jan 10.
Speaking on the tournament, captain Mark Knowles said: "The team is excited and looking forward to play in India. While, because of injury, we had to leave behind a few players, but we are confident to face any kind of challenge that the league will throw on us."
"Our group is very tough with Belgium and Netherlands in it but we are confident of playing good and tough hockey."
