The central government on Wednesday approved a cooperation agreement between India and Spain in the civil aviation sector.
The decision to approve the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation in the sphere of civil aviation was taken by the Union Cabinet, whose meeting was chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
"The MoU signifies an important landmark in the civil aviation relations between India and Spain, and has the potential to spur greater trade, investment, tourism and cultural exchanges between the two countries," the Union Cabinet said in a statement.
