India is constantly supplying relief materials, including food, water, milk, clothes and medicines to the earthquake-affected people in Nepal, officials said here on Monday.
"Relief materials, especially food, water and medicines are being supplied to the quake-hit people in Nepal," Foreign Secretary S. Jaishankar told a press conference here.
"RO plants, oxygen generators, tents, blankets and other important things are being supplied by the Indian government to the quake-affected people in Nepal," he said.
A number of flights carrying relief materials are ready to take off from India but that has to done in accordance with the situation at Kathmandu airport, which is keeping extremely busy as air traffic from all parts of the world has been directed towards it, he said.
A national helpline number 011-1078 has also been activated to help people in distress, the officials, including Home secretary L.C. Goyal, told media.
India Meteorological Department head L.S. Rathore told the press conference that the intensity of the aftershocks has come down and the weather also will remain fair over the next two-three days.
More and more rescue and relief teams from various parts of the country are being sent to affected areas in Nepal by road and air routes.
