External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid Saturday said India supports talks to resolve the Iranian nuclear issue. He added that India has always favoured peaceful use of nuclear energy.

Khurshid was responding to a reporter's query, while flying back home after Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's visit to Brunei and Indonesia about recent developments between Iran and the US and possible talks between them.

To another question on China issuing stapled visas to two archers from Arunachal Pradesh, the minister said "differing perceptions" on the border issue had led to such "unsavoury" incidents, but they should not affect cooperation between the two neighbours.

"At the same time, over the years, we have come to an understanding that within the areas that we don't have differences, India and China can continue to collaborate, cooperate and move forward."

He said India and China have put in place a process and mechanisms to tackle unresolved issues like the boundary.
