India trail England by 544 runs

India were 25 for one in first innings, 544 behind England, after the second day's play of the third cricket Test at the Rose Bowl here Monday.

Murali Vijay was batting on 11 and Cheteshwar Pujara on four when the stumps were drawn.

Earlier, England declared their first innings at 569 for seven on the second day. Ian Bell was the top scorer with 167 while Gary Ballance struck 156.

Pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar was the most successful Indian bowler picking up 3/101.
