A Pakistani national who had inadvertently crossed the Line of Control (LoC) into Indian territory in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district was repatriated on Monday as a goodwill gesture, an army official said.

"Abdul Rehman, son of Asgar Ali from Barnala tehsil of Bhimber, had inadvertently crossed over to India on December 16 this year.

"Indian Army informed Pakistan about his details. After confirmation by the Pakistan government, he was repatriated at Chakan-da-Bagh crossing on the LoC in Poonch district on Monday," army's northern command spokesman Col. S.D.Goswami told IANS.
