Indian High Commissioner Sharat Sabharwal Friday called on Nawaz Sharif, who is set to become the prime minister of Pakistan, and discussed ways of strengthening bilateral ties between the two countries, Geo News reported.

Sharif told Sabharwal that Pakistan wanted to resolve all the issues at dialogue table on equal basis.

The talks were held in Punjab province's Raiwind town.

Sharif's Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) emerged the single largest party in the May 11 general elections.
