The National Crisis Management Committee (NCMC) under the chairmanship of Cabinet Secretary Ajit Seth on Saturday reviewed the status of rescue and relief operations undertaken by various government agencies in quake-hit Nepal.

An official statement said the NCMC noted that many state governments have intensified their efforts towards providing relief material to Nepal. These include tents, tarpaulins, medicines, dry food and water.

It said those desirous of sending relief material to Nepal should give details to the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) control room at helpline number 011-1078.

The NDMA has also provided a missing people's registration page. Details about missing people can also be given at www.ndma.gov.in.
