Swedish DJ Alesso, who has released his new single "Falling", says he is impressed with the Indian music scene.
"The Indian music scene is amazing. It's so interesting to hear music from creative people completely different to myself, and learn what inspires them," Alesso said in a statement.
"I love India. It has such a long history with music and it really shows in the culture and people," he added.
"Falling", which released on Friday, sees Alesso progress his sound in an intimate and soulful direction.
"It's all about being overwhelmed in the feeling of falling in love. The inspiration was that loss of control in your emotions when falling in love. That helpless, but exciting feeling," he added.
Alesso said he is only concentrating on singles at the moment, and not on an album. It is his first single since 2016's "Take My Breath Away".

"(I am) Doing whatever I want musically and enjoying it," added the music enthusiast, who is known as much for his live shows as for his song releases.
Alesso's music is being promoted in India by Bottomline Media, which has a tie-up with Virgin EMI Records UK for collaborations and brand partnerships for the British record label's artistes in the country.
According to Tanaaz Bhatia, Managing Director and Founder, Bottomline Media, "Music knows no boundaries. The idea behind our collaboration with Virgin EMI UK is to create and promote music which can entertain audiences across the world".
