Global software major Infosys Ltd on Monday announced it had bagged a five-year deal to transform IT applications of Dutch logistics major TNT N.V.
"Global express delivery firm TNT has selected us as its technology partner for application development and maintenance services," the IT bellwether said.
TNT has decided to transform its IT infrastructure to reduce complexity, cost and increase flexibility by revamping its IT applications and building new systems for seamless customer experience.
"We will deploy digital technologies to improve TNT's engagement with customers, especially small and medium enterprises," said Karmesh Vaswani, Infosys head for retail and logistics in Europe.
The outsourcing major will also consolidate and standardise TNT's IT applications for higher service quality and lower cost of operations.
