Inter Milan midfielder Felipe Melo was discharged from hospital on Sunday after being told that a head injury he suffered in a 1-0 home win against Genoa was not serious.
"Felipe Melo is fine and has already been dismissed following a night of observation at the hospital," said a Twitter post from the Italian football club's official website.
Melo, the 32-year-old Brazilian international, clashed with his Chilean teammate Gary Medel during the first half in Saturday's Serie A match and was replaced at half-time, reports Xinhua.
"I don't remember a thing," Melo told reporters about the incident on Saturday before leaving the San Siro Stadium.
