Police in Ghaziabad have arrested an inter-state gangster who carried a prize money of Rs 25,000 and seized a country-made pistol from him.
Senior Superintendent of Police Vaibhav Krishna told the media that the criminal, who was absconding for two years, was taken into custody from the Modi Nagar police station area on Monday night.
When the man was stopped on a street and taken to a police station, he revealed his name as Munfaid. He had over two dozen criminal cases registered against him in different police stations of Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Delhi, Haryana and Rajasthan.
