InterGlobe Aviation, which runs the budget passenger carrier IndiGo, on Friday announced the appointment of Rahul Bhatia as its interim Chief Executive Officer.
As per a company statement, the development comes after Aditya Ghosh resigned from the post of President of IndiGo effective July 31, 2018 and as a Director of the company with effect from April 26, 2018.
"Rahul will continue as a Director of the company. The company also announced the appointment of Gregory Taylor as senior advisor to the company reporting directly to Rahul," InterGlobe Aviation said in a statement.
According to the statement, in the coming months, its Board will consider Taylor's appointment as President and CEO of the company, subject to receiving the necessary regulatory approvals and paperwork.
