Top Iranian negotiators on Tuesday left for Austria's capital Vienna to secure a long-awaited deal on Tehran's nuclear issue.

The top negotiators - Foreign Minister-Mohammad Javad Zarif, president's special aide Hossein Fereydoun and head of Atomic Energy Organisation of Iran (AEOI) Ali-Akbar Salehi - are scheduled to continue nuclear talks with the six world powers, IRNA news agency reported.

On June 28 in Vienna, Zarif held intensive separate talks with his American, German and French counterparts as well as European Union (EU) foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini and Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Li Baodong.

Iran, the EU and representatives of the P5+1 countries -- the US, Britain, Russia, China, France plus Germany -- have been holding intensive nuclear talks to reach a final agreement on Tehran's disputed nuclear issue.

Both sides are to find a solution for a nuclear dispute that goes back to over a decade.
