The Iraqi parliament on Thursday passed a law which bans the websites of the Islamic State (IS) group and other media outlets that incite terrorism.
"The parliament voted during the session on a law that bans IS websites and other websites that incite, glorify, promote or justify terrorim," an official told Xinhua news agency.
The law was passed by a majority of 215 lawmakers who attended the regular session of the 328-seat parliament.
The ban will also include satellite channels which support and promote terrorism, the official added.
