Spider-Man could appear alongside the God of Thunder in "Thor: Ragnarok", according to hints dropped by Jon Watts, the director of "Spider-Man: Homecoming", and "Thor: Ragnarok" helmer Taika Waititi.
Watts tweeted to Waititi first on July 31 to ask if Spider-Man is going to be in the next "Thor" film, reports aceshowbiz.com.
Waititi then hinted at the possibility of Spider-Man crossing paths with actor Chris Hemsworth's Thor character in the upcoming film by replying: "I just need his head. Send immediately."
Watts didn't seriously respond to the tweet as he replied to it with a GIF (Graphics Interchange Format) of actor Brad Pitt.
The plot details of the third instalment of the "Thor" film series have been kept under wraps. Hemsworth is set to reprise his role as the God of Thunder, joined by returning cast members Tom Hiddleston, Idris Elba and Anthony Hopkins, while Mark Ruffalo will additionally reprise his Marvel character Hulk.
As for "Spider-Man: Homecoming", the movie centers on Tom Holland's Peter Parker back to his high-school roots. The film also stars Zendaya Coleman, Robert Downey Jr., Marisa Tomei, Donald Glover, Michael Keaton, Logan Marshall-Green and Martin Starr.
