The hills of Himachal Pradesh Wednesday saw a sunny but nippy day with temperatures at some places staying close to freezing point, the Met Office here said.
"It was almost a bright sunny day across the state and such conditions would continue till Thursday," an official of the meteorological office told IANS.
A fresh bout of western disturbance would be active in the state Nov 6-7 with chances of light rain and snow at some places in the state, he said.
Keylong, headquarters of Lahaul and Spiti, was the coldest at a minimum temperature of 0.9 degree Celsius.
Kalpa in Kinnaur district saw a low of 3.6 degrees, while the temperature was 5 degrees in picturesque tourist resort Manali and 10.2 degrees in Dharamsala town.
The state capital saw the night temperature at 8.9 degrees Celsius, whereas the day temperature was 18.8 degrees.
