Italian football club Bologna has sacked head coach Delio Rossi due to poor results.
Rossi's firing on Wednesday comes after the 0-1 home defeat against Inter Milan in the Serie A last Tuesday, leaving Bologna in the penultimate place in the league table with just six points after 10 matches, reports Efe.
The Italian squad was trained on Wednesday by Paolo Magnani, coach of the Under-17 team.
Rossi, who succeeded Uruguayan coach Diego Lopez last May, led Bologna when they were in the Italian second division league and helped promote the side to Serie A.
