Spanish football player Jose Callejon reckons that playing in Italy has made him more matured and stronger player.
The 29-year-old said in Italy the game is more tactical and organised as a result it helped him to improve himself.
"The game is more tactical, teams are well organised but are much improved in this way. I feel that I have matured and become a stronger player," Callejon, who moved to Napoli from Real Madrid in 2013, told Spanish radio station Onda Cero on Wednesday.
Speaking on upcoming developments the Partenopei forward said: "I cannot complain, things are going well and I hope to continue in this way...Leaving Spain was hard, playing at Real was my dream, but I thought it was time to leave for more playing time and in the end it was the right choice."
He said, "I was happy, I was fine, but any player wants to find space. Regardless of Mou's choice I had already decided to leave. I knew Ancelotti was coming but I never talked to him. The decision had already been taken."
"I was on holiday, I sent a message to Rafa Benitez and he asked me if I liked the idea of following him to Naples, it was a big project and I immediately said yes. It was the right choice," Callejon said.
