Abidjan, May 11 (IANS/MAP) The European Union Ambassador to Côte d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast), Jean François Valette, announced that the next summit between Africa and the EU will take place in the country's economic capital Abidjan at the end of November.
Valette made the announcement on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Treaty of Rome in the presence of Foreign Minister Marcel Amon-Tanoh and ambassadors of the European Union member states in Ivory Coast, according to the report on Thursday.
Valette said the decision to hold the African-EU summit in Abidjan was taken by the African Union.
The theme of this summit will be youth training and employment.
