Jamshedpur FC scripted their first win of the pre-season football friendly with a 1-0 victory over Spanish outfit Torrelodones CF on Saturday.

Moura scored the solitary goal of the match for Jamshedpur as he netted in the 47th minute.

New signing Carlos Calvo delivered the assist for the winning goal.

In what was Cesar Ferrando's first game in charge of Jamshedpur, the Spaniard fielded a back four consisting of Raju Gaikwad and Tiri being the central defenders and Dhanachandra Singh and Yumnam Raju being the fullbacks.

Memo and Sergio Cidoncha played in the centre of the park along with Michael Soosairaj.

Pablo Morgado was the sole striker, supported by Carlos Calvo and Wellington Priori.

Jamshedpur made a slow start to the game and their best chance in the first half came in the 35th minute when Calvo's shot missed the target by a slender margin.

The score remained goalless at the break as Jamshedpur then made a couple of substitutions.

The goal came in the 47th minute when Memo Moura found the back of the net after some good work by Carlos Calvo.

The ISL side had several other chances to increase their advantage but failed to make the most of the opportunities.

The likes of Pablo Morgado, Gourav Mukhi and Jerry Mawia missed chances to get on the scoresheet.

With this being a pre-season game, there were substitutions aplenty with all the three goalkeepers getting a run-in along with nine outfield players.

All in all, it was a comfortable victory for Ferrando and his men with Memo's goal being the difference between the two sides.

Jamshedpur FC will now face La Segoviana C.F. on September 5.
