English singer Jessie J has dedicated her latest single "Thunder", to god. She says she feels more comfortable singing about her Christian beliefs now.
Jessie has penned the lyrics of the number which is a part of her second album "Alive".
"'Thunder' is a dedication to god. That is why in the video I am levitating - that feeling of being lifted to the light," the 25-year-old told mirror.co.uk.
"I remember I prayed a lot when I worked on this album and it is not something I have never spoken about openly," she added.
"But I am just more confident and feel more comfortable to be open about my beliefs and feelings on the world now. I thank god every day for my blessings and my talent," she said.
Jessie, who has not touched alcohol in over a year, admits she does not always go to church because of her hectic work schedule, but her religion always travels with her.
"Whenever I can I do go to church and I feel that when you are right with your religion, your church travels with you," she said.
