Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Wednesday inaugurated an advanced smart oil terminal of the Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOC) in Khuti district of the state.
This terminal has been constructed over a sprawling 32-acre piece of land. Now the petroleum products will reach Khuti through the Paradeep-Raipur-Ranchi pipeline which has been constructed at a cost of Rs 2,800 crore.
The 1,073-km Paradeep-Raipur-Ranchi pipeline will ferry petroleum products in much lesser time than in the past.
From Khuti oil terminal, the petroleum products will be supplied to 14 districts of Jharkhand.
Speaking on the occasion, Raghubar Das said: "From this smart terminal, petroleum products will be supplied to many districts of Jharkhand. The petroleum products will reach in minimum time through this pipeline which was earlier supplied from Paradeep through railway."
