Television host Jimmy Kimmel will host the 68th Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony in September here.
Kimmel announced the news via Twitter on Monday. He posted: "I am hosting the #Emmys on Sunday, September 18. Until then, have a great summer."
The news was announced by ABC network as well on Monday morning, with Kimmel saying "I have a feeling I'm going to be great", reports dailymail.co.uk.
Kimmel, who interviewed Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra on his show last week, will be hosting the awards event for the second time. He hosted it in 2012, the last time ABC had broadcast it.
The Emmys are rotated among the major television networks, including ABC, NBC, CBS and Fox.
The show will take place on September 18 at the Microsoft Theater here. The nominations for this year's Primetime Emmy Awards will be announced on July 14.

Last year, Fox presented the show with Andy Samberg as host, while NBC chose Seth Meyers in 2014 and Neil Patrick Harris was CBS' presenter in 2013.
In India, the awards ceremony will be telecast on the Star English entertainment portfolio on September 19.
