Former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Ajit Jogi on Wednesday demanded that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should initiate a probe against Chief Minister Raman Singh for payments allegedly made by the state government to a middleman in 2008 in the purchase of helicopters from AugustaWestland.

He also sought action in the Panama Papers case allegedly involving Raman Singh's son Abhishek Singh's foreign bank accounts.

Jogi said if investigations were not initiated by October 2 (Mahatma Gandh Jayanti), he will begin a relay hunger fast along with thousands of people from the state in Jantar Mantar in Delhi.

Jogi also alleged that there were irregularities in the Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB) approval to BJD MP Baijayant Panda's company in 2007-08 when P. Chidambaram was the Finance Minister and demanded a probe into it.
