British tennis player Johanna Konta has forayed into the top 10 in the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) world rankings, released on Monday, after winning the Miami Open.
Konta advanced to seventh place after beating Dutch Caroline Wozniacki on Sunday,reports efe.
German Angelique Kerber is still leading the WTA world rankings, with 7,340 points.
United States tennis player Serena Williams slipped to second place with 7,010 points, followed in third position by Czech Karolina Pliskova with 6,020.
