Delhi Lt. Governor Najeeb Jung Tuesday reviewed the progress of various schemes and projects outlined in Delhi's budget, an official said.
Jung reviewed the reforms to be taken up in the power and water sectors.
He was informed that Delhi Jal Board will provide piped water supply in 50 unauthorised colonies and sewerage system in 70 unauthorised colonies by Dec 31, 2014.
Jung directed the chief secretary to closely monitor the work of sewerage facilities in unauthorised colonies.
Schemes related to health sectors were also reviewed.
The lt. governor was also apprised of the progress on one-stop centre for crisis management and rehabilitation of victims of sexual assault.
