Singer Justin Bieber paid tribute to the victims of the Orlando mass shooting during his concert.

The 22-year-old displayed the names of the 49 people, who were killed by a gunman at gay nightclub Pulse, and the words "Orlando strong" on a big screen behind him while he sang his song "Purpose" during his gig in Orlando, Florida on Thursday, reports mirror.co.uk.

Bieber also showed his support by telling the audience: "You've been through a lot here, and my heart goes out to all the families. You can't take down Orlando."

The "Sorry" hitmaker later took to Twitter and posted: "Thank you for tonight. Don't ever be afraid to be yourself. Orlando Strong."

Besides Bieber, singers Lady Gaga and Madonna also showed support for the victims by joining thousands of people outside City Hall in Los Angeles after the attacks.
