At least 21 juveniles locked themselves up inside a rehabilitation centre here for more than 12 hours while protesting against alleged misconduct of the centre's employees, said police Thursday.
The juveniles locked themselves up in north Delhi's Timarpur area, police said.
"They broke some wooden articles and set on fire some blankets. The drama started around 10.30 p.m. Wednesday and ended 12.30 p.m. Thursday when an assurance was given to them by the Juvenile Justice Board magistrate," said a police officer.
"A few days ago four-five juveniles were shifted to a special home. Others also wanted to be shifted from here due to the alleged misbehaviour of the employees of the centre," said the officer.
