Director Punit Malhotra's "Gori Tere Pyaar Mein" is his second film with Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and he praises the latter as an easygoing producer.
"As a producer Karan is lenient enough to give you whatever you want. The advantage is that he is also a director. As far as the space is concerned, he didn't come on the sets even once. As a producer, he gives you everything you want," Malhotra told IANS.
Malhotra had earlier directed "I Hate Luv Storys" under Karan's banner.
"Gori Tere Pyaar Mein", slated to release Nov 22, features Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor in the lead.
Malhotra, who had assisted Karan in movies like "Kal Ho Naa Ho" and "Dostana", describes "Gori Tere Pyaar Mein" as a "fun film". But he is not targeting Rs.100-crore marks.
"Rs.100 crore depends on a lot of factors. The canvas of the film leads it to that zone. Ours is definitely not in that zone. It's a fun film," said Malhotra.
