The Kerala audience welcomed "Baahubali 2: The Conclusion" in a big way as long queues was seen in front of the theatres showing the film, in the wee hours of Friday.
The film is being screened in over 200 screens across the state including numerous multiplexes and ticket rates have touched as high as Rs 400.
The first show began at 6.30 a.m and it was only the really lucky ones who got a ticket after being in the queue from 3 a.m onwards. Inside the theatre it was whistling, clapping of hands, throwing of flowers and papers, when the first scene came live on the screen.
Across the state the response from those who saw the film and those in the queue was the same.
"It is a great film and better than the first part. This is going to be a super duper hit. The first half is really exciting stuff and I am going to be back again for a second viewing," said a viewer after seeing it early in the morning.
"I missed out for the first show and wish I will get a ticket for the next show," said another anxious viewer waiting in the queue.
