Technopark, one of the largest IT Parks in the country, will put its might behind global efforts to fight HIV/AIDS with a series of programmes on World AIDS Day (Dec 1) to spread awareness and hope.
On the day, commemorated as Red Ribbon Day, over 46,000 employees at the Technopark will wear a red ribbon as a mark of solidarity with people living with HIV/AIDS.
The day-long event named "Go Red," will include a mass blood donation camp, flash drama, walkathon and fun-filled activities to promote healthy lifestyles
"With the support of various employee associations in Technopark, we hope to make this event one of the largest AIDS day event," said Technopark CEO K.G. Girish Babu.
In the evening, a half-hour-long flash drama will be performed by Technopark employees.

The drama will be based on the theme of world AIDS day which is "Getting to Zero-AIDS"
All employees will also take a pledge to spread awareness on HIV/AIDS. The event will be wrapped up with the release of 1,000 red hydrogen balloons.
Technopark has begun a poster designing contest on World AIDS Day theme for all park employees on its Facebook page.
Winners of the contest will be announced on the event day.
