KIMS Hospitals, a leading healthcare group in Telanganga and Andhra Pradesh, and Portea Medical, a home healthcare company, on Friday announced a partnership to deliver home healthcare services.
Portea's comprehensive, tech-enabled home healthcare services will be available to patients of KIMS Hospitals in Secunderabad and Kondapur here.
The patients discharged from the two KIMS facilities will receive medical care that is customised to their requirements and delivered in the patient's home.
"At KIMS we are focused on the well-being of our patients even after they are discharged and we would like to ensure all their medical needs are met on a continual basis. Our partnership with Portea is aimed to ensure this, with high quality medical care and support being made available to patients within the comfort of their own homes," said B. Abhinay, Vice President, Strategy, KIMS Hospitals.
"We believe our hospital-like care at home will encourage faster recovery for patients and enable specialists at KIMS to focus their efforts at the hospital to the treatment of patients requiring critical care," said Meena Ganesh, MD & CEO, Portea Medical.
