Filmmaker Guy Ritchie's "Knights of the Roundtable: King Arthur" is no longer slated for release next summer.
Warner Bros has pushed the film, which is set to star Charlie Hunnam, from July 22, 2016 to February 17, 2017, reports aceshowbiz.com.
The project is likely to start a Knights of the Roundtable franchise.
Other cast members of the film include Jude Law, Astrid Berges-Frisbey, Katie McGrath, Djimon Hounsou, Eric Bana, Mikael Persbrandt and Annabelle Wallis.
Thanks to the delay, the film avoids competition with Paramount's "Star Trek Beyond", though it's now scheduled to open against two anticipated sequels, Sony's "Bad Boys 3" and Fox's "The Maze Runner: The Death Cure" at the US box office.
To fill the July 22, 2016 slot, New Line's horror film "Lights Out", starring Teresa Palmer has been moved up from its original September 9, 2016 release date.
Tom Hanks's film "Sully" now occupies the September 9 date.
