Kirloskar Industries on Monday posted a fall of 11.3 percent in its net standalone profit for the quarter ended September 30 this year at Rs.26.79 crore as against Rs. 30.20 crore in the same period last year.
The company's total income from operations increased by 141.9 percent at Rs.1.79 crore in the period under review as against Rs.74 lakh in the similar quarter in 2014-15.
However, its other income - which comprises the bulk of the earnings - fell by 10.8 percent at Rs. 29.41 crore in the July-September timeframe as compared to Rs. 32.98 crore in the similar months of 2014.
Expenses also surged by 32.3 percent at Rs. 2.13 crore as against Rs. 1.61 crore.
