United States' golfer Brooks Koepka maintained the number one spot in the World Golf Ranking released on Monday for the second week in a row, after a weekly battle with Justin Rose of England.
A tug of war had started between the two golfers over the past month, since Rose had claimed the top spot after his victory at the Turkish Airlines Open, reports Efe news.
Spain's John Rahm climbed two positions up to the sixth after defending the Hero World Challenge title on Sunday, dropping Italy's Francesco Molinari and Rory McIlroy of Northern Ireland to the seventh and eighth spots, respectively.
Meanwhile, US Tony Finau entered the top-10 list by climbing five places up to world No 9, thanks to being a runner up in the same tournament, replacing US Rickie Fowler, now world No 10.
