Virat Kohli (batting 104) and Ajinkya Rahane (batting 111) forged a superb unbeaten 189-run fourth-wicket partnership to propel India to 336 for three at tea on day three of the third Test against Australia at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) here Sunday.
India resumed the day at 108 for one in reply to Australia's 530 and were were in trouble at 147 for three but the right-handed duo stabilised the innings to take them to 224 at lunch and launched a stunning counter-attack after lunch to dwarf the lead to 194 runs at tea.
