The body of a businessman with the throat slit was found at his home here on Sunday, police said.
Khurshid Alam - a pinewood trader - was found in a pool of blood at his residence in north Kolkata's Jorasanko area this morning and a prima facie it seemed to be a case of murder, said police.
"The homicide squad is investigating the case. The weapon is yet to be found," said a top Kolkata police officer.
