Former Samajwadi Party president Mulayam Singh Yadav on Tuesday termed NDA's Presidential nominee Ram Nath Kovind a "wonderful choice" for the post.
He said that Kovind, with whom he has "long standing and great relations" was a "wonderful choice for the presidency".
Mulayam Singh also refused to comment on the opposition's strategy with regards to the presidential nominee and said the BJP has the majority to get its choice into the Rashtrapati Bhawan and in case it fell short of "1-5 per cent votes", it will be "able to manage it".
