Filmmaker Shirish Kunder is delighted as his short movie "Kriti" has been viewed over seven million times on YouTube.
Shirish tweeted on Saturday to announce the news. He posted: "7 million views of 'Kriti'. Film shot in two days where everyone including me worked for free... brings us so much love."
His wife and filmmaker Farah Khan also took to the social media platform to join in the celebrations. She wrote: "This little film just keeps getting bigger. Shirish Kunder, Manoj Bajpayee, when do we party?"
Shirish also went on to thank actor Manoj Bajpayee, who stars in the short film.
"Especially to you for making this happen. Or my script would be celebrating its third birthday in my locker."
The film's success comes after the film's makers' legal battle with a Nepali filmmaker, who claimed that "Kriti" is a copy of his film "BOB".
