L&T wins overseas orders of Rs.1,404 crore

Engineering and construction conglomerate Larsen & Toubro (L&T) on Friday said it has won orders worth Rs.1,404 crore across different business verticals.

"L&T Construction wins orders valued Rs.1,404 crore," the company said in a stock exchange filing.

"The power transmission and distribution business has won orders worth Rs.1,014 crore for an electrification upgradation work in the Middle East," it said

"Another additional international order has been bagged by L&T, for an additional third and fourth transformer unit at Madinat Barka and Al Khadra grid stations from Oman Electricity Transmission Company Ltd," the company added.

L&T's civil infrastructure business has received a Rs.390 crore order from an ongoing metro work in the international market, it said.

 

Larsen & Toubro stock closed on Friday at Rs.1150.60 a share, 2.35 points, or 0.20 percent, higher than its previous close on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
