RJD chief Lalu Prasad and former Bihar chief minister Jagannath Mishra on Friday appeared in a special CBI court here over their involvement in a multi-crore fodder scam, a government lawyer said.
Lalu, Mishra and former MP Jagdish Sharma appeared in the special CBI court at Patna civil court, the lawyer said.
Both Lalu and Mishra are on bail after serving jail term in Ranchi in another fodder scam case.
After appearing in the court, Lalu said he had full faith in the judicial system.
"I respect judiciary and have full faith in it," Lalu Prasad told the media here.
He said he will continue to appear before the court whenever he is asked to in the future.

A CBI court on Thursday directed 34 accused, including Lalu and Mishra, to appear in the court.
The CBI had in 1996 lodged a case in the fodder scam.
They were accused of illegally withdrawing Rs. 46 lakh from treasuries in Bhagalpur and Banka between 1994 and 1996.
The CBI had filed a chargesheet in 2003.
