NSYNC boy band member Lance Bass is engaged to his long-time boyfriend Michael Turchin.
According to US weekly magazine, the couple got engaged in New Orleans when Bass presented Turchin, who is an aspiring actor and model, with a black diamond band.
Bass even texted Turchin's parents to get their approval.
He took to micro-blogging website Twitter to share the news along with a picture of Michael showing off his ring, reports hollywoodlife.com.
"He said 'Yes'! Love this man," read his tweet.
"They're such a great couple, everyone is so happy for them. Their friends and family are thrilled," said a source.
