Ledecky claims fourth gold at worlds

Katie Ledecky, 16, won her fourth gold and broke her second world record of the World Swimming Championships here with another incredible swim.

Ledecky swam a time of 8:13.86 in the 800 metres freestyle Saturday to break the five-year-record of 8:14.10 set by Rebecca Adlington during the 2008 Beijing Olympics, reports Xinhua.

The youngster had previously knocked an incredible six seconds on her way to gold in the 1,500m freestyle and taken medals in the 400m freestyle and as part of America's 4x200m women's relay team.

Lotte Friis took the silver (8:16.32) while New Zealand's Lauren Boyle was third (8:18.58).
