Lifting all sanctions against Iran over its nuclear programme will help Tehran and world powers reach a final agreement regarding the issue, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said Sunday.
In the nuclear talks, "what is important is boosting the Iranians' confidence and respecting their rights" by the P5+1 group, namely Britain, China, France, Russia, the US plus Germany, Xinhua quoted Zarif as saying at joint press conference with visiting Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Garcia-Margallo.
In a reciprocal manner, all the sanctions against Iran should be lifted and his country will also "remove the logical concerns" of the P5+1 group over its nuclear programme, he said, adding that this will help the two sides reach a final comprehensive deal.
For his part, the visiting Spanish foreign minister expressed satisfaction with the nuclear agreement between Iran and the world powers.
He expressed optimism that rapprochement in Iran's relations with the West will also help expand cooperation between the two countries on all fronts.
